About this event

Plett Rage 2026 runs from Friday 27 November to Thursday 3 December in Plettenberg Bay, closing out matric season with a week of beach days and big nights on the Garden Route. Daytime sessions happen at Bikini Beach on Central Beach, and the music moves to Coco Valley at Cairnbrogie Farm once the sun drops. Will Linley tops the announced bill, General Access passports cost R4,100 and VIP has already sold out.

  • Dates: 27 November to 3 December 2026, doors from 12:00, checkout 4 December
  • Venues: Bikini Beach on Central Beach and Coco Valley at Cairnbrogie Farm, Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape
  • Lineup: Will Linley, Tristan Urwin, Son of Dennis, K’link and Koraya, with 40-plus artists teased
  • Tickets: General Access R4,100, VIP R5,600 sold out, Alumni R1,900
  • Where to buy: Howler, the festival’s official ticketing platform

Will Linley leads a still-growing bill

The Cape Town singer-songwriter arrived as a surprise addition, and his platinum hit “miss me (when you’re gone)” gives this year’s lineup its biggest streaming name. Tristan Urwin, Son of Dennis, K’link and Koraya are confirmed alongside him through the festival’s official channels.

Organizers have floated a 40-plus artist bill including two international acts, but the full program isn’t published on the official site yet. Expect more names in the countdown to late November. Coco Valley carries the Main Stage and Sonic Garden for bands and DJs, while Bikini Beach hosts the daytime sets that have defined the event since it started in 2000.

Passports, prices and Rage Village

Entry works on a week-long Passport rather than day tickets. The Late Bird General Access Passport covers Bikini Beach, Coco Valley, GA bars and toilets and sponsor activations for R4,100. VIP at R5,600 is booked out, and listings flag limited stock on General Access, so holding off looks risky.

  • Platform: Howler, buy via the Plett Rage tickets page
  • General Access Passport: R4,100, week-long entry to both venues
  • VIP Passport: R5,600, sold out
  • Alumni Passport: R1,900 for ages 19 to 24, ID plus a certified matric certificate from 2022 to 2025
  • Rage Village, sold separately: BYO camping R2,275 per person, glamping domes and tents from R3,325 for two

Rage Village returns to Forever Resorts as the on-site stay, with camping and glamping, hot showers, laundromats, braai areas, yoga sessions and 24-hour security with access control. Village passes don’t include festival entry, so you need both. Anyone skipping the village should move quickly on Airbnb, Booking.com or Plett Tourism listings, because town beds disappear fast every Rage week.

Shuttles, age rules and getting there

The festival runs cashless on Howler wristbands topped up through the app. Daily shuttles link Rage Village to Bikini Beach and Coco Valley on a token system, a setup carried over from past years to keep drink-driving off the Garden Route’s roads. Strictly no under-18s, and ID checks apply at the gate.

Driving in, the N2 from George or the run up from Gqeberha both work, and shuttle operators run Garden Route transfers through Rage week. If Plett isn’t on your cards, our guides to Amapunjabi in Guguletu and the Massive Gqom Weekend in Pietermaritzburg cover other late-November and December options.

Matrics and 18-to-24-year-olds chasing the classic post-exams week are the core crowd, and the festival’s socials have spent recent weeks counting down lineup drops while nudging followers to book beds early. The sellout pattern backs that up. The one move that matters now is a General Access Passport plus a confirmed place to sleep, since VIP and the top glamping tiers are already gone or thinning.
