Mzansi Maskandi Experience Returns to Kagiso Stadium
About this event
The 7th Annual Mzansi Maskandi Experience lands at Kagiso Stadium on Saturday 5 December 2026, with the All White Picnic Affair opening its gates at 10:00. Khuzani and Limit Sminof are the first acts confirmed on the bill, and Early Bird tickets start at R150 through Computicket.
It’s the seventh edition of an event that has grown into one of Gauteng’s biggest Maskandi fixtures under promoter Thobela Dlamini. The format stays familiar: a family picnic where everyone comes dressed in white and Maskandi shares the stage with other genres.
- Date: Saturday 5 December 2026, gates open at 10:00
- Venue: Kagiso Stadium, Kagiso township, Krugersdorp, West Rand
- Lineup: Khuzani and Limit Sminof confirmed, more names still to come
- Tickets: R150 Early Bird General Access, R600 VIP
- Where to buy: Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers
Who’s on the bill
Khuzani tops the lineup, a returning headliner after featuring on the 2025 bill alongside Sjava, Menzi, Skwletu and Ofishabakhulu. Limit Sminof completes the confirmed pair so far, with the organisers yet to release the full list of performers.
Fans are already lobbying for additions. Comments on the event’s Facebook page keep calling for Jikijiki, Feza, Mzamo, Nkeshemba and Mashelela to join the bill, so expect further announcements before gates open. Updates tend to land first on the official event site and its social pages.

The All White theme applies to everyone, and the picnic setup means you’re settling in for the day rather than a short evening set. Food and drinks are on sale inside the stadium and the crowd skews family-friendly.
Tickets and getting there
Two tiers are on sale. Early Bird General Access costs R150, while VIP goes for R600 and includes VIP parking, catering and hospitality. You can book through Computicket BoxOffice or at Shoprite and Checkers counters.
- Platform: Computicket BoxOffice, plus Shoprite and Checkers outlets
- General Access: R150 Early Bird
- VIP: R600, covers VIP parking, catering and hospitality
- Status: no sell-out yet, though the 2025 edition moved close to 80% of its tickets
Check the refund terms before booking. Cancel more than 30 days out and 15% is deducted, between 30 and 7 days costs you 50%, and inside the final week there’s no refund at all.
Parking is available at the stadium for both VIP and General Access ticket holders. Kagiso sits just south of Krugersdorp in Mogale City, so build in extra time for West Rand traffic on a festive-season Saturday.
The date slots into a busy Maskandi summer. Maskandi Fest hits Harrismith this month, the Khayelitsha Maskandi Festival follows in Cape Town in November, and Kagiso rounds off the stretch in December.
If a full day of Maskandi in white with the whole family sounds like your kind of festive-season opener, this is the West Rand date to keep. Buy the Early Bird ticket while the R150 price holds, and watch for lineup additions between now and December.
