Maskandi Fest Paarl takes over Mbekweni Rugby Stadium on Saturday 24 October 2026, running 10:00 to 20:00. The lineup and what the day looks like
No Paarl bill has dropped yet. Listings for the other 2026 stops carry the same stay-tuned note, with performers confirmed closer to each date. The East Rand edition on 17 October lists Shwi Nomthekala, Limit Nala, Umafikizolo, Handsome Khuthuza, Jikijiki, Trixie, Bridgie MC and Thembani, while the May Johannesburg event drew Khuzani, Thandeka Radebe and Inkosi Yamagcokama to Mary Fitzgerald Square.
Expect names in that mould for Paarl. The tour has also rotated regulars like Ntencane, Menzi and Shenge Wasehlalankosi through other towns, and the Paarl announcement posts already show fans tagging their picks and pushing for their favourites to make the bill.
On the day it’s a full outdoor stadium programme. Sets run from late morning into the evening under the series theme “In My Somatekisi Era”, with food stalls and vendor areas around the field. Cooler boxes are welcome as long as they hold cans only. All genders are allowed, but no under 18s.

Mbekweni sits just off the N1 northeast of Paarl town, about an hour’s drive from Cape Town. Minibus taxis run between the township and Paarl’s ranks through the day, and on-site parking is the norm at venues like this, though the organizer hasn’t published details yet. Bring cash for food stalls and cooler box refills.
