About this event

Lekompo vs Bolo House lands at Kgapane Stadium in Ga-Kgapane-A, Modjadjiskloof on Wednesday, 16 December 2026. Gates open at 10:00 and the music runs through to 06:00 the next morning. King Monada, Hitboss SA and Prince Benza lead the bill, with tickets priced from R80 general up to R300 VIP.

The Day of Reconciliation fixture puts Limpopo’s two dance forces on one bill in the province’s own backyard. It’s a full 20 hours of sound, built around the fast, percussive Lekompo wave and the melodic Bolo House tradition that shaped it.

  • Date: Wednesday, 16 December 2026, 10:00 to 06:00 on 17 December
  • Venue: Kgapane Stadium, Ga-Kgapane-A, Modjadjiskloof, Limpopo
  • Line-up: King Monada, Hitboss SA, Prince Benza
  • Tickets: R80 general, R100 Phase 1, R150 Phase 2, R300 VIP
  • Where to buy: TBA, purchase link not live yet

The line-up and what to expect

King Monada is the headline draw, the Khelobedu voice whose hits carried Limpopo club music onto national radio. Hitboss SA pulls double duty as performer and producer, the connective tissue between established names and breakout vocalists across the Lekompo scene. Prince Benza rounds out the confirmed three, fresh off The Landlord EP with DJ NTK.

On the floor, expect Lekompo’s tighter, more urgent rhythm, with sharp synth phrases, insistent percussion and call-and-response hooks in Sepedi, Khelobedu, Tshivenda and Xitsonga. Bolo House answers with its slower melodic drive. And because the event runs a full day into the next morning, the crowd will shift from an afternoon family vibe to a proper all-nighter.

Only three acts are confirmed so far. Bills like this tend to grow closer to the date, so further additions are worth watching for. Our Lekompo section follows the releases feeding the scene week by week.

Tickets and the same-day clash

Tickets run in four tiers: R80 general, R100 Phase 1, R150 Phase 2 and R300 VIP. The purchase link attached to the announcement hasn’t resolved to a live ticketing page yet, so no platform is confirmed for now. That’s the one gap to watch, and we’ll update this page the moment the link goes live.

  • General: R80
  • Phase 1: R100
  • Phase 2: R150
  • VIP: R300
  • Where to buy: TBA, no confirmed ticketing platform yet

Before you commit, know that 16 December is crowded this year. Shimza has already locked in Best of Both Worlds at Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria for the same date, with a Lekompo x Gqom stage alongside an Afrohouse x Deep House stage. Gauteng fans get a real choice, while Kgapane Stadium stays the home-ground pick.

Practical notes are still thin. Kgapane Stadium is an open community ground with no confirmed parking or transport plan yet, and no age limit has been published. With a 06:00 finish, sort your ride home before the day.

Lekompo’s festival calendar keeps filling beyond this one, with Lekompo Lovers at Second Eye Resort in Kuruman also on the cards. If you’re within reach of Modjadjiskloof and want the province’s sound on home turf, this is your December 16 move. Save the date now and keep an eye out for the ticket link.
