The line-up and what to expect
Zodwa Wabantu brings the high-energy stage show that’s made her one of the most talked-about performers in the country, and she’s rarely a quiet presence on any bill. Mlindo The Vocalist counters with soulful, R&B-flavoured vocals and hits like “Macala”, while Dr Malinga supplies the party anthems, “iParty” included. Organizers say more Lekompo and related artists will join the bill before the day.

Lekompo runs on a fast, bouncing rhythm, heavy bass and sharp synth phrases, with an amapiano log drum in the mix and vocals in Sepedi, Khelobedu, Xitsonga and other Limpopo languages. That sound has spent 2026 moving from taxi ranks and taverns onto bigger stages across the country, and this festival carries the wave into the Northern Cape.
Tickets and how to buy
Tickets are priced from R200 and sold through Computicket. No tier breakdown, door-sale plan or age limit has been published yet. There’s also no live Computicket event page for the festival showing in searches right now, so it’s worth checking the platform directly closer to the date or following the promoter for the working link.

Second Eye Resort and getting there
The venue sits on the N14 between Kuruman town and Kagung Village, and it’s an established events, camping and wedding resort with nine years in the business. Guest reviews consistently flag it as safe, clean and family-friendly, with staff who go out of their way to help, which matters when a festival crowd camps overnight. Expect standard resort access straight off the highway.
Camping at the resort is the obvious option if you’re driving in, and Kuruman itself, the famous oasis of the Kalahari, has places to eat and sleep. It’s a proper road trip from the major centres, so plan travel early. Doors times haven’t been announced.
If a Northern Cape drive doesn’t fit the plan, the same Saturday hosts the Ugu Maskandi Festival in Margate and SoulScene in Roodepoort, with Music in the Jungle following at Cradle Nature Reserve in October.
Anyone into Lekompo, SA dance music or a big outdoor party in the Kalahari should keep 26 September open. The next step is to buy your ticket on Computicket from R200, or follow LekompoTV for the full line-up drop.
