Gomes is a Pretoria native who built his name on intricate, soulful deep house that pulls from R&B, pop and kwaito. His catalogue runs from the 2016 album Late Dreamer through Slow Poison in 2019 and Poisoned in 2021, with collaborations like 1000 Memories with Sio, Nothing Can Break Us with Ziyon and Stay with Zaki Ibrahim. His long run with UK producer Atjazz produced tracks such as Don Esquire and Philosophy with Osunlade.
He’s the only named performer on the listing, so no support acts are confirmed. Expect a bar-room setup rather than a festival stage. The Fire & Ice venue runs as a hotel bar with cocktails and a poolside area, and it has been hosting DJ sessions through the week.
