The full Maskandi Garden lineup
The Maskandi Garden is one of the headline additions to this year’s Berlin November, and the full bill is out. Joining the six headliners on the live side are Butho Vuthela, Impondo Elisha, Tornado, Ntenteni, Amawele KaMamtshawe, Khuphuka and General, with traditional dance troupes booked between the main sets.
A deep DJ roster fills the gaps, with DJ Bukho, Black Man, DJ Cherd, Vidgen, DJ Medda, DJ Lentor, King Zee, Bisa, Vegas Boiz, Ntara, Nkazie, Ace Shaun, DJ Misser, DJ Cue, DJ 98% and DJ Popla all confirmed. Expect a day that moves between guitar-led Maskandi, dance crews and deck work rather than a straight concert format.
Context matters here. The Maskandi Garden sits inside the broader Berlin November, the 13th edition of what’s billed as South Africa’s biggest traditional horse racing experience. The festival pulls more than 30,000 people to the small town of Berlin each November for racing, fashion, music and cultural activities, and the Eastern Cape Tourism Agency has declared it a provincial signature event.
Maskandi festivals have drawn strong regional crowds right through 2026, from the Mzansi Maskandi Experience to Maskandi Fest Mthatha and the Khayelitsha Maskandi Festival. Fan debate about the genre’s newer crossover sound hasn’t dulled the appetite for big live lineups, and this one is among the deepest in the Eastern Cape this summer.
Tickets and entry rules
General admission runs from R50 to R260 across the standard tiers. Above that sit two hospitality options: the Mastandi Lounge at R3,500 and the Prime Lounge from R2,500, both double-access packages that bundle food, drinks and elevated viewing.
Cooler boxes are welcome, but each one needs its own cooler box ticket. The house rules are firm. No glass, no weapons, no pass-outs and no refunds, with food and beverages sold at the venue. No sold-out status has been reported yet.

Venue and getting there
Berlin Racecourse sits on Bara Boulevard in Ntabozuko, a short drive from East London in the Eastern Cape. Parking and shuttle arrangements haven’t been published yet, so plan on standard racecourse access from the East London side and aim to arrive near the 10:00 gate opening. No age limit is stated on the ticketing page.
The Berlin November runs its full racing and cultural programme across the weekend, so expect busier roads around the venue than a standalone concert would draw.
If a full Saturday of live Maskandi, traditional dance and festival atmosphere fits your plans for 28 November, this is the Eastern Cape date to keep. Buy tickets on Webtickets early, add a cooler box ticket if you’re bringing one, and get there before the gates get busy.
