Ses’fikile x Nyusa iGqom Brings Durban Gqom to Club Paradise Cape Town
About this event
Ses’fikile x Nyusa iGqom lands at Club Paradise, 9 Albertus Street, Cape Town this Saturday, 24 October 2026, for a one-night collaboration billed as Durban meets Cape Town. Two promoters, two cities, one gqom dance floor. It’s organised by Sesifikile and slots into a packed Cape Town party weekend.
Tickets are already live on FIXR, though the listing doesn’t display prices or tiers publicly yet. That’s the only official ticket channel at this stage.

What to expect on the floor
Neither promoter has published a performer list, so don’t go hunting for a poster with ten names on it. The sell here is the crossover itself. Nyusa iGqom built its name in Durban with gqom and umdanso parties where the dancing matters as much as the music, while Ses’fikile has driven the Cape Town side through takeovers and after-parties, with local DJs like Shakes Sesfikile featuring at past events.
The Durban-to-Cape Town pipeline is working overtime this year. Dlala Thukzin’s Cabo Beach show earlier in 2026 proved how deep the appetite for Durban sound runs here, and Club Paradise offers the opposite setting. It’s a small central room where the bass does the talking, so expect raw, percussive gqom built for umdanso rather than standing around.
Fan energy around Nyusa iGqom events runs hot, with “fire lineup” and “hectic” the standard reactions under their posts. Nothing party-specific has surfaced this week, which is normal this close to the date. The lineup drop is the thing to watch on Sesifikile’s pages before Saturday.
Tickets, doors and the Hexagon mix-up
One correction worth making: this party is not at Hexagon Club. The confirmed listing places it at Club Paradise on Albertus Street. Hexagon does host a separate underground night the same evening, The Warm-Up: Underground Edition on Prestwich Street, mixing amapiano, gqom and hip-hop with tickets from R50 and R100 at the door. Easy to confuse, but they’re two different parties across town from each other.

Door times and the age policy haven’t been published for this event either, so check the FIXR page or Sesifikile’s Instagram before heading out. Transport is the easy part. Club Paradise sits in the District Six area, a short Uber from the City Bowl, and the listing carries no parking details, so leave the car behind.
If you’re mapping the rest of the month, our event pages cover Halloween at Cabo Beach Club later in October and Amapunjabi in Gugulethu in November.
This one’s built for gqom heads and anyone curious what Durban’s rawest export sounds like in a small Cape Town room. Buy your ticket on FIXR, follow Sesifikile for the lineup drop, and get there early on Saturday.
