Jullian Gomes Headlines Everybody Loves Sundays at Defected Studios Cape Town
About this event
Jullian Gomes tops the bill when Everybody Loves Sundays lands at Defected Studios in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town, on Sunday 27 September 2026. The edition appears on his touring schedule as It’s a House, running afternoon into night, with listings pointing to a 19:00 start. Ralf GUM and Drega complete the confirmed lineup.
Tickets run through the Everybody Loves Sundays Instagram bio link, with no public Quicket or Webtickets page up yet. No official price has been published, though one fan reselling a pair on the announcement post asked R400 for the two, which puts face value near R200.

The Lineup
Gomes needs little introduction among South African house heads. The Pretoria-born producer’s award-winning 2016 album Late Dreamer still anchors his sound, alongside 1000 Memories with Sio and his Slow Poison album. Cape Town has history here too, with his 2016 Boiler Room back-to-back alongside Kid Fonque still a local touchstone. He’s been on the road all year, from Hartbeespoort to festival stages.
Behind him sits Ralf GUM, who brings decades of soulful house pedigree. The GOGO Music founder’s album Never Leaves You went gold in South Africa, and tracks like Kissing Strangers have traveled well beyond it. Drega completes the bill.
Expect the usual ELS format: no rush, no pressure, good people and open air energy, with a soundtrack moving between deep, soulful and uplifting house. Previous editions here, like the Sun-El Musician day on 2 August, ran from early afternoon to midnight.
The Cape Town date sits inside Gomes’ Mind Future Flow run for September and October, flagged at the start of the month with more dates to be confirmed.
Tickets and Entry
Everything routes through Everybody Loves Sundays on Instagram for now. The bio link is the only confirmed purchase channel, so it’s worth checking daily. ELS has used phased Quicket pricing on earlier editions, and whether the 27th sells out isn’t clear a week out. The announcement post’s comments are running hot, full of “THIS LINEUP” and fire emoji reactions.
- Purchase channel: Everybody Loves Sundays Instagram bio link, no public ticket page yet
- Price: TBA, no official tiers published, though a fan resold two at R400 total
- Door sales and age limit: not confirmed
Door times are still a moving target. Listings show 19:00 for the 27th while the series format stretches back into the afternoon, so confirm times on the ELS page before planning your Sunday.
Getting There
Defected Studios sits at 17 Auckland Street in Paarden Eiland, the light industrial strip just north of the CBD along the N1 corridor. On-site parking is limited among the warehouse side streets, so ride-hailing is the easier option if you’re staying late.
It’s a big few days for Gomes in the Mother City. He plays Red Bull Unlocked at The Hub on Saturday 26 September, the night before this session, days after Silverdeep took over The One VIP Club.
If deep, soulful house and a daytime-to-night dancefloor sound like your kind of Sunday, keep the date clear. Sort your tickets through the ELS Instagram bio link before the weekend, and watch for the Late Dreamer 10-year anniversary dates Gomes has lined up from October.
