Afrobiza Music Festival Returns to Legacy On The Dam Hartbeespoort
About this event
Afrobiza Music Festival takes over Legacy On The Dam in Hartbeespoort on Saturday 31 October 2026, a one-day Afro house and Afrotech session on the dam’s waterfront. Sun-El Musician heads the bill with McK and Lebza The Villain also confirmed, and early bird tickets are already live on Howler.
The Harties stop has become the flagship of the Afrobiza run, which dresses a dam-side venue in white-washed, Ibiza-style beach club styling and parties from late afternoon into the night. The 1 September announcement billed this edition as bigger than before, and the replies under it on Instagram filled quickly with “we will be there” promises.
- Date: Saturday 31 October 2026, one day, running into the night
- Venue: Legacy On The Dam, Simon Bekker Ave, Hartbeespoort, North West
- Lineup: Sun-El Musician, McK, Lebza The Villain, plus more to be announced
- Tickets: Early bird phase live and limited, tiered pricing on Howler
- Where to buy: Howler, via the official Afrobiza Linktree
Sun-El Musician leads the Harties lineup
Sun-El Musician is the biggest name locked in so far. The producer behind “Akanamali” remains one of the most recognisable voices in South African Afro house, and his sets lean melodic and vocal-driven before opening into deeper club territory. A sunset slot over the water feels like the obvious fit.
McK anchors the day as the man who built the Afrobiza brand, a story he tells in full on the festival’s own podcast. Lebza The Villain completes the confirmed trio, and the ticket listing promises “so many more” still to be named.
Legacy On The Dam does plenty of the work itself. The venue sits right on the water with white-washed villa styling, cocktail service and a floor that drifts from Afro house into Afrotech as the night goes on. If you’re mapping an October calendar, our Music in the Jungle Cradle Nature Reserve listing covers another outdoor option that same month.

Tickets, entry and getting there
Early birds went live on 1 September and are limited, and past Harties editions watched those first batches disappear quickly before prices stepped up. There’s no sold-out status for 31 October yet, so the current phase is the cheapest way in.
- Platform: Howler
- Buy: official Afrobiza Linktree, which links straight to the 31 October page
- Price: tiered, early bird currently the cheapest phase, exact figures shown at checkout
- Availability: early birds limited, general sale follows once they’re gone
Entry follows the series standard: no under 21s, so carry ID. No outside beverages or hubbly, both sold at the venue, and no weapons or sharp objects. Door times for this edition aren’t out yet, though the April date at this venue opened at 13:00.
Parking is secure and on-site, with VIP tickets getting gated parking close to the event space and general parking running first come, first served, plus street overflow. Hartbeespoort sits under an hour from Pretoria and about an hour from Johannesburg, so a day trip works. That said, past editions drew enough accommodation queries in the comments that booking a Harties stay early pays off if you’re not driving back that night.
The run keeps going after Harties too. Afrobiza crosses into Eswatini on 28 November 2026 at The Albert Millin, then closes the year at Maracana Sandton on 12 December. For the same beach club formula on the coast, our Dlala Thukzin Cape Town date runs a similar waterfront playbook.
Afro house fans in Gauteng and North West who want a dam-side party to close out October should keep 31 October free. The move now is simple. Grab an early bird on Howler before the tier steps up.
