South African house duo Kususa brings a rowdy set to The Lab Johannesburg with #BUDX Budweiser. The Durban-duo Kususa (Kunzima Theology and Samurai Yasusa) started producing and DJing together in 2016, after their initial collaboration and EP release ‘Kusuka Sukela.
The duo has since risen to international acclaim after charting #37 on Traxsource Top 100 for afro house in 2017. They were nominated for Remix of the Year by the South Africa Dance Music Awards in both 2017 and 2018, as well as being nominated for Best Producer in 2018. Kususa also received support from South African-staple Black Coffee, with their single ‘Traveller’ being featured in his Ibiza 17 Appreciation Mix.
