Black Coffee to Perform at Moses Mabhida Stadium in December 2018

House music stars, DJ Tira and Black Coffee are pulling their star powers together to put on one spectacular show over the festive season.

Tira’s #FactDurbanRocks is an annual party that takes place on the 31st of December every year. The concert is so huge and so popular that it has become an institution all on its own, taking many months to put together. And as the event grows bigger every year, Tira who is the founder of the concert, is taking things to higher levels.

And one of the sure-fire ways to solidify the high status of any event in Mzansi is to add Black Coffee to the lineup. But Tira, real name Mthokozi Khathi, has taken things one step further and given Black Coffee, real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo, an entire floor to himself. The floor is called Africa is not a Jungle and Black Coffee has free reign to do with it as he pleases and judging by his international acclaim, it is going to be a show worth seeing.

“We’re telling a different story, bringing South African music on the highest definition and I feel it deserves its own floor. [I’m] not playing a 30/40-minute set, we’re playing longer sets [and] bringing the DJ culture back,” Black Coffee told fans.
