The legendary Dj and producer of House / Kwaito from South Africa, Oskido finally releases their last studio album titled “50 Degrees”. This musical art project is an adequate accompaniment to other projects of the general of the producer Kalawa Jazmee.

Oskido whose real name is Oscar Bonginkosi Mdlongwa was born in the county of Oukasie near the British in South Africa in 1967. His father was a Zimbabwean politician in what was known as Rhodesia at the time, where Oskido chose until he finally returned to South Africa in 1987.

After selling mixtapes and spending his time playing at clubs and parties, he will later team up with fellow producers Don Laka and Christos Katsaitis to set up Kalawa Records. The trio released their own compilation “BOP (Brothers Of Peace)” in homage homonymous in 1993.

Oskido became one of the first artists to produce songs from Kwaito – a genre of music originally created in South Africa in the 1990s. It was described as the music that defines the generation that came after apartheid.

The album “50 Degrees” is set to become the continuation of his career. The 12-track musical project features a repertoire of heavyweights in the game including Professor, Bucie, Nowkwuazi, Buckz, Zing Master, Peincil, Bhizer, Mque, Zulu Naja, Dr Moruti, McKenzie, Boom Boom Bass, Ipeleng, Candy and Western.
