It all started in Cape Verde when he was young, Manwell played in a musical group where he was percussionist. After years of researching Electronic Dance Music, Manwell felt in love with EDM which was his motivation to start making his own style of music.
He has grown into a quality producer and DJ with years of experience and knowledge. DJ Manwell is a DJ you will not forget after his show. His uniqueness and way of creating music consists with a mixture of traditional Cape Verdean music with electronic dance music. He puts his own style into the beats that he creates. In 2011 Manwell was nominated for Cape Verde Music Awards in the category of Best Dj.
