DJ Tira, real name Mthokozisi Khathi, has been a Durban staple since 1995. He won the Smirnoff South Africa DJ Knockout competition two years in a row, in 2000 and 2001, and was awarded a trip to Ibiza. Since then, he’s been recognized as one of the leading forces of dance music in the African continent, after founding the record label Afrotainment. DJ Tira will be headlining the night, bringing his distinct sound to The Lab.
