“Darkness Into Light” is the theme song for the new Dj, Producer and mixer, Cueber. This song features the participation of the Afro Warriors who not long ago released their latest project “VA Drummers”, and also has the participation of Bridgette Thetiwe.
Darkness Into Light is one of the singles that will be part of the upcoming album of Famous DJ and Producer nominated at the South African Music Awards “SAMA”, Cueber.
It is not often that the story of a highly regarded music producer begins with a 15-year-old nerd who is obsessed with hip-hop. This, however, is how the story begins for the talented Cuebur. As a young teenager growing up in Mpumalanga, Nicholas Mboweni is now known for Cuebur passionate about computer studies, hip-hop and beatbox.
Never had to cross your mind that one day I would be a successful international producer of House music. He also never thought that someday he would release his own hit albums, or signed on to local and international producers, produce collaborations with Grammy artists, watch his songs on the top of the radio or sing on big stages with big names.
After receiving his first PC, the revelation of House began. As the only child in the neighborhood with a PC, Cuebur was the one stop shop for all digital needs. One of his friends, DJ Xola, would visit him often with his own equipment and vinyls to record mixes. Leaving his equipment at Cuebur’s house, the DJ was quickly drawn to try his hand at what it takes to produce his own songs.
