“Nomahemba” is the new song of prolific DJ and Producer, Andyboi. This song counts with the special participation of J After and was taken from “EP Reflections”.
A talented vocalist, songwriter, producer and DJ, Andile Hlanze, better known as Andyboi, has been passionate about music throughout his life. Singing from the age of four, his performances began in the youth choir of his church, and by the time he was 15, he began to take his music much more seriously.
Curiously, Andyboi was one of the childhood friends with Soul Candi’s own dj, DJ Cuebur. They started producing Afro House music together in high school and several of their tracks quickly gained popularity on local radio stations. After high school, the two friends left their hometown, Middelburg in Mpumalanga, to pursue their big dreams in Gold City, Johannesburg.
Working with a variety of different styles of House, Andyboi is known to be involved with genres like Afro Soul, Deep and Electronics. His unique ability to add his own lyrics and vocals to his productions proved to be a great force in creating his tracks.
Her voice, often described as strong and emotional with a sweet feminine touch, resulted in him being featured in many other productions by artists such as Shimza on the track “We Going Higher” and Cuebur on the hit songs “Ngiyazifela” and “Be There” . As a vocalist, Andyboi appeared in songs like “Usangkhumbula” which was a collaboration with the successful artists Kid Fonque, Okmalumkoolkat and Cuebur.
